Description

You will ensure the quality and functional accuracy of web applications and APIs through rigorous testing and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Verify that programs function according to requirements and conform to established guidelines.
• Write, revise, and execute test procedures for program design and product evaluation.
• Create and execute database queries to confirm proper data placement during program operation.
• Review program documentation, diagrams, and flow charts to ensure alignment with user requests.
• Report and manage defects within an agile environment, providing clear documentation to developers for reproduction.
• Test web APIs in unit test environments and perform end-to-end application testing.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of software testing experience.
• 1-2 years of experience specifically testing web APIs.
• Proficiency with MS SQL for database query verification.
• Experience with manual testing and web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Jira for defect management.
• Experience working in heavily regulated IT environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Postman.
• Experience in a HIPAA-regulated environment.
