Description

You will build and maintain server-side services and RESTful APIs within an AWS ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and document reusable RESTful APIs and shippable code.
• Optimize NoSQL databases for cost and performance.
• Implement data access controls, monitoring, and system issue resolution.
• Perform pair programming, performance testing, and assist with product releases.
• Collaborate with Product, Quality, and Cloud Engineering teams to ensure secure, functional digital assets.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in API and server-side development using Java or Node.js.
• 10+ years of experience in NoSQL database development, data modeling, and querying document stores, specifically MongoDB.
• 8+ years of experience with cloud platforms, focusing on AWS (EC2 and Lambda/Serverless).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and using Docker.
• Knowledge of API security frameworks, including OAuth, JWT, and OpenAPI.
• Experience with message queue systems and background task management.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant technical or Cloud certifications.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
