Description

You will manage build and deploy processes, infrastructure, and environment management for the NCFAST and Child Welfare portfolio applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage build and deploy activities across numerous test, development, and production environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot web layers, operating systems, and IBM WebSphere clusters.
• Maintain and use CI/CD pipelines using Copado.
• Automate deployments using Ansible scripts, JobScheduler, and other components.
• Support the creation and configuration of AWS EC2 instances via CFT scripts.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Operations, Maintenance, and Database Administrators to ensure environmental performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering J2EE applications in WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBoss.
• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server operating systems.
• 5+ years of experience with container resource configuration (JDBC, JMS) and security configuration.
• 3+ years of experience with automation technologies including Ansible, UNIX shell scripting, Perl, or Python.
• 2+ years of experience with J2EE application building/deployment tools such as Ant, Maven, or Ivy.
• 2+ years of experience with J2EE-specific application hosting, VM tuning, and application tracing/debugging.
• 2+ years of experience with hardware specs evaluation, platform sizing, and capacity planning.
• 2+ years of experience creating and configuring AWS EC2 instances using CFT scripts.
• 2+ years of experience with name/IP-based virtual hosts and clustering/load-balancing technologies.
• 1+ years of experience with Bitbucket/Git configurations and executing build scripts.
• Full understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynatrace and Job scheduler products.
