Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable API services and cloud-native automation platforms across Java, Node.js, and Python. You will own the full lifecycle of infrastructure-as-code solutions, integrating with Kubernetes, SQL databases, and IT service management tools like ServiceNow and Aria Automation.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs using Java, Node.js, and Python to support IaaS/PaaS/CaaS cloud services.
• Build and maintain automation workflows using vRA/vRO and Aria Automation for VCF environments.
• Implement secure authentication, certificates, and SSL configurations within cloud infrastructure.
• Write and maintain database schemas and queries for SQL and PostgreSQL systems.
• Manage IT request processes and integrate with ServiceNow (SNOW) for platform development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, and Python for backend service development.
• Strong front-end skills with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL database management.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S) and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven ability to work with limited directional oversight and influence at all levels.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud experience in IaaS/PaaS/CaaS.
• Customer-facing experience with strong communication and services-oriented mindset.
