Description

Lead the modernization of a core logistics operations management system, owning technical excellence through refactoring, TDD, and pair programming.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable software systems using object-oriented, event-driven, and domain-driven design paradigms.
• Refactor legacy codebases and implement continuous improvement through Agile and XP practices, including CI/CD.
• Mentor peer developers and collaborate with vendor teams to elevate engineering standards.
• Partner with end-users, business analysts, and QA to plan, refine, and deliver user stories.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in C#.NET (Framework 4.x or Core/Standard).
• 10+ years of experience in logistics, retail, banking, or insurance industries.
• Strong experience with enterprise-level ASP.NET MVC5 sites hosted on IIS.
• Proficiency with ORMs, specifically Fluent NHibernate or Entity Framework.
• Advanced use of LINQ and Git for version control and data manipulation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and SQL Server for pipeline management and database operations.
• Ability to work in self-managing teams to drive process improvements and build consensus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Blazor WebAssembly, MassTransit, or Specflow.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud services and RabbitMQ for messaging.
• Knowledge of Functional Reactive Programming (Rx) or MAUI/Xamarin mobile development.
