Description

You will lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS and develop scalable Java-based solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy applications to AWS using appropriate migration tools and strategies.
• Develop and maintain software using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed, cloud-based environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience migrating applications to AWS.
• Strong Java programming skills with experience in Spring, Hibernate, and JSF.
• Extensive experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and orchestration platforms (AWS ECS, EKS).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Experience with messaging systems like Apache Kafka or Amazon Kinesis.
• Proven experience with CI/CD practices.
