Description

You will build and maintain components for large-scale infrastructure, including database systems, distributed queues, and deployment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of changes within mid-to-large scale distributed systems of approximately 10k servers.
• Monitor and maintain the health of infrastructure services, data pipelines, and build streams using logging, metrics, and dashboards.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues and bugs, often following up on monitoring alerts.
• Provide on-call support during business hours, assessing urgency and escalating to core teams when necessary.
• Handle operational tasks related to binary packaging, distribution, build processes, and third-party modules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python for both infrastructure and data-related tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD and build systems.
• Familiarity with data systems, ML pipelines, and distributed databases.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to perform proactive maintenance through extensive use of monitoring and metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with binary packaging and distribution workflows.
