Description

You will build and maintain components for large-scale infrastructure, including database systems, distributed queues, and deployment platforms. You will handle the end-to-end lifecycle of changes in mid-to-large scale distributed systems (approx. 10k servers). Your work involves proactive maintenance using monitoring, logging, and metrics dashboards to diagnose and resolve issues alongside core infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health of infrastructure services, data pipelines, and build streams.
• Manage binary packaging, distribution, CI/CD, and third-party module builds.
• Monitor system metrics and respond to alerts with appropriate urgency.
• Provide on-call support during business hours and escalate critical issues.
• Resolve infrastructure bugs and improve system efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python (infrastructure and data engineering focus).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build systems.
• Familiarity with data systems, ML pipelines, and distributed databases.
• Ability to work in large-scale distributed environments (10k+ servers).
• Proficiency in monitoring, logging, and metrics dashboards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database internals and deployment platforms.
