Description

You will build responsive web interfaces and scalable backend services integrated with AWS and OCR technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive interfaces using Angular or React, implementing code splitting, lazy loading, and minification.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with AWS services, records management systems, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and optimize OCR solutions using Tesseract or AWS Textract to process various document formats.
• Configure and manage AWS services including S3, Lambda, OpenSearch, KMS, and CloudTrail.
• Maintain AWS CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CloudFormation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture within AWS environments.
• 6+ years of frontend development using Angular or React.
• 6+ years of API development using Python.
• 6+ years of Test-Driven Development using Pytest, Unittest, Monkey Patch, or pytest-mockito.
• 6+ years of experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CI/CD tools and services such as S3, Lambda, Security Hub, and OpenSearch.
• Knowledge of API security protocols including OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with records management systems and metadata management.
• Experience working in Agile development and Lean management environments.
