Description

You will architect, design, and launch core services for Alexa-enabled enterprise properties. You own the end-to-end delivery of features used across multiple teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system architecture and design for distributed, high-availability services supporting Alexa devices.
  • Develop, test, and deploy core functionality extending Alexa capabilities for hotel and hospital property management systems.
  • Drive best practices for quality product development and maintain enterprise-scale codebases in Java and Python.
  • Mentor junior engineers, break down complex technical work, and guide the team through sprint planning and blocker resolution.
  • Author technical documentation and proposals to align stakeholders on forward-looking architectural decisions.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development and system architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python for backend service development.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, AWS infrastructure, and enterprise-grade software design.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) integration and Alexa Development.
  • Proven track record in technical leadership, including cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable solutions for complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with voice and graphical user interface development for enterprise applications.
  • Background in integrating with hotel or hospital property management systems.
