Description

Lead software design and create a formal Quality Engineering framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior developers and testers on test design strategies and participate in a community of practice.
• Develop automated test libraries and test infrastructure for enterprise-class applications.
• Coordinate with developers and QE engineers to build backend tests, UI automation, unit tests, stress tests, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with dev teams across the full SDLC to deliver technology solutions.
• Partner with DevOps engineers to optimize releases and manage application deployment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in quality engineering, consulting, or testing.
• 2+ years of experience as an SDET, test automation engineer, or developer.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Selenium, REST Assured, Postman, and Cucumber.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase, or MongoDB.
• Experience with containerization.
• Strong understanding of BDD and TDD methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Skills

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or CIS.
• 2+ years of experience on an Agile (SCRUM) team.
• 2+ years of experience in the retail industry.
