Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications while ensuring system reliability and high code quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Java-based applications using J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins for cloud and VM-based deployments.
• Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize Postgres, Cassandra, and Redis.
• Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure high code quality and system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience supporting Event Framework based applications.
• Proficiency with SOAP and REST web services.
• Advanced database knowledge in Postgres, Cassandra, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD.
• Understanding of API/Event gateway patterns and load balancers.
• Knowledge of web/infrastructure security, including Authentication and Authorization.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the Payment and Cards domain, specifically Auth and clearing.
