Description

Design and implement core components of a large-scale distributed enterprise platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of significant portions of the product development lifecycle.
• Build, scale, and maintain critical features of the platform used by millions of users.
• Translate business requirements into flexible, scalable platform capabilities.
• Drive feature execution by collaborating with architects, product owners, and data scientists.
• Participate in the long-term product roadmap and architecture review boards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with Java at scale, specifically Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Deep experience with large-scale distributed microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Hadoop.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL, Couchbase, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Redis, or Hazelcast.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Practical experience with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production readiness.
• Background working within end-to-end product mission-driven teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.
