Description

You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions across UI and API layers to ensure end-to-end product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test suites for unit, functional, and performance testing.
• Build and maintain modular automation frameworks from the ground up using design patterns like Page Object Model.
• Define automation strategies and create custom tools, libraries, and utilities to improve team efficiency.
• Execute and maintain automated test jobs within continuous integration pipelines.
• Participate in design and code inspections to identify defects at the component and integration levels.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in IT with a focus on UI and API test automation.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Perl, Shell, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, and REST Assured.
• Experience testing Microservices and backend REST services using Postman, Karate, or Ready API.
• Strong knowledge of TDD and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave.
• Experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL) or NoSQL databases.
• Ability to deploy applications in AWS or OpenShift (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency with CI tools like Jenkins or CircleCI and SCM tools like GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, SAFe, or XP.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure automation using Docker, Chef, Puppet, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, CodePipeline, and CloudFormation.
