Description

You will design and maintain scalable, consumer-facing applications using a microservices architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs within a microservices environment.
• Develop scalable web applications capable of handling high request volumes.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement automated testing using the TestNG framework.
• Support cloud migrations and tech stack upgrades.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java programming.
• Deep knowledge of web servers including Tomcat, Jetty, or SpringBoot.
• Experience with RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle.
• Experience with CloudSQL or GCP-based database solutions.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing high-scale web apps with 1,000+ requests per minute.
• Background in cloud migrations or tech stack upgrades.
