Description

Own the design, development, and operational support of Crew Operations systems within a cloud-native environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and implement code for maintenance, enhancements, and break-fix requirements.
• Design and develop cloud-native applications using clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the full technology stack.
• Integrate container platforms with automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Own product quality by engaging in testing activities and creating visual models like flowcharts and sequence diagrams.
• Support operationally critical environments through monitoring, research, and production issue analysis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in Java 11/J2EE frameworks, design patterns, and layered architecture.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, including SpringBoot and SpringBatch.
• Strong SQL development skills with PL/SQL, Oracle 18c, or TOAD.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, Swagger, JSON, and Postman.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud development and deployment.
• Practical knowledge of containers, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Maven, Gradle, or GitLab.
• Front-end experience with the Angular framework.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer – Associate.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA).
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and tools like Mockito and SonarQube.
