Description

Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services within a cloud environment. Own the release pipeline and ensure smooth application performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services.
• Perform data analysis and validations for data and process migrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug code, and deploy applications to production.
• Collaborate with developers to design and implement new features.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of recent experience in Python development.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks and modules including Pandas, NumPy, Pyramid, multithreading, and requests.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like Snowflake, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and developing applications for AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, SQS, and SNS.
• Knowledge of container orchestration using ECS and Docker fundamentals.
• Experience implementing MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GoCD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake procedures, tasks, and components.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark, AWS Glue, Apache Airflow, or Prefect.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), BDD, Selenium, and Cucumber.
