Description

You will design, develop, and debug software programs across the full development lifecycle. You will own the engineering process from requirements analysis to implementation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify software solutions using Java, C++, Perl, and Python.
• Analyze and verify system requirements and code quality using standard engineering practices.
• Document development progress, testing results, and change requests.
• Solve complex engineering problems by analyzing situations and recommending corrective actions.
• Mentor less experienced staff and direct support personnel and project activities.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, C++, Perl, or Python.
• Practical experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Proven track record across the full software development lifecycle, including design and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Lean and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to research and select appropriate software designs and operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in medical device or regulated software industries (IEC 62304).
• Multi-threaded Java development on Linux, Windows, or Android platforms.
• Familiarity with hardware test platforms and wireless technologies like Bluetooth or MICS.
