Description

Build and maintain enterprise web applications across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end components using modern Java ecosystems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop features across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end components.
• Design and implement web services using SOAP and REST patterns.
• Build, deploy, and operate applications within Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Manage application deployment and troubleshoot production issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java/J2EE web development.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, Spring MVC, or equivalent (last 3 years).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate or equivalent ORM (last 2 years).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including building Docker applications.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP web services, particularly as a service provider.
• Experience with AWS native services (S3, EC2, CloudFront, Lambda, ELB, SNS, CloudWatch, Route53).
• Experience deploying components to AWS EKS clusters and debugging issues.
• Experience using Aurora Postgres RDS for database persistence.
• Strong command of Git and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Amazon Active MQ for message brokering.
• Experience with event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
