Description

You will design and implement enterprise-grade REST API architectures and integration patterns within the banking and payments domain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of API-based systems, including security controls and policies.
• Implement integration patterns such as OAuth, callbacks, async, and batch processing.
• Transform internal capabilities into external industry standards like Open APIs and FDX.
• Document the API landscape and create technical roadmaps to bridge system gaps.
• Support solution architecture within an Agile development and release environment.

Required Skills

• 10 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Hands-on development experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee X, or Apigee Hybrid.
• Deep knowledge of REST API architecture, implementation, and security.
• Expertise in security protocols including OAuth2, SSO, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes (K8s) services.
• Proven experience with API Gateways, specifically Apigee.
• Knowledge of payment rails, banking terminology, and money movement.
• Experience with microservices and service-oriented architecture.
• Ability to work with NodeJS, JavaScript, and Drupal for portal customization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with proxy implementation on GCP Apigee.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, load balancers, and automated API testing.
