Description

You will contribute to the incremental development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and manage data extraction and loading processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and test ETL solutions using industry standard tools.
• Extract data from multiple sources and integrate disparate data into common data models.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to debug ETL development and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform data analysis, data modeling, and root cause analysis throughout the project life cycle.
• Tune SQL queries and ETL mappings to optimize performance.

Required Skills

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in ETL development.
• At least 2 years of experience with Pentaho Data Integration and Snowflake Database.
• Expertise in Advanced SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle 10 & 11g and MySQL databases.
• Proficiency in extracting data from XML, JSON, and flat file formats.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing fundamentals and Business Intelligence methodologies.
• Experience working within Unix, Linux, or Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of version control and software engineering principles.
• Ability to perform deep data analysis and problem-solving.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Shell, JavaScript, or HTML5 scripting.
• Exposure to Denodo Virtualization, R12 Oracle ERP, OBIEE, or Tableau.
