Description

You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software systems, leading architecture and prototyping efforts for embedded devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software for embedded devices, owning architecture and prototyping.
• Write, review, and unit test code in modern C and C++.
• Develop and maintain device drivers and Linux subsystems.
• Optimize system performance using memory and profiling tools.
• Implement inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development for embedded devices.
• Proficiency in modern C and C++ (C++11/C++14 or C++17).
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux and Board Support Packages (BSP).
• Experience with POSIX-based systems such as Linux or QNX.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, algorithms, and the C++ build process.
• Solid knowledge of IPC, RPC, and communication paradigms (client-server, peer-to-peer, publish/subscribe).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IP-based protocols: HTTP, TLS, REST, Websockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, or HLS.
