Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement applications on the IBM i platform.
• Develop and maintain programs using RPGLE, ILE RPG, Free Format RPG, CLLE, and embedded SQL.
• Provide L2/L3 production support for IBM i applications built in RPG and SQL on Db2 for i.
• Monitor application health, system logs, and performance metrics to identify potential issues.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLA timelines.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes or preventive measures.
• Support application deployments, hotfixes, and patches in production environments.
• Coordinate tasks and work activities between onshore and offshore teams ensuring seamless delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team while conducting performance reviews and supporting staff development.
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Enhance existing legacy applications and support modernization initiatives for system upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit requirements across all environments.
• Maintain production support documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders during incidents and outages.

Experience Required: 8+ years' experience in IBM iSeries (AS400) environment with proven experience leading developer teams

Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
