Description

You will design and implement high-performing web applications using Java and AWS managed services. You own the full lifecycle from code review to production issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS managed service solutions and scalable web applications.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical direction to junior engineers.
• Deliver multiple projects following Agile methodologies.
• Investigate and resolve production issues from the UI to the persistence layer.
• Collaborate with product managers and service teams to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Java (Java 17) and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proficiency with containerization and Python scripting.
• Significant experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL, and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with event streaming platforms and Kafka.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical STEM field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ad Platforms, Accounts Receivable, or financial applications.
• Knowledge of performance testing and profiling using Gatling or JProfiler.
