Description

You will own browser codebase development and performance optimization for the Chromium open source project.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and test production code using C++, JavaScript, and Python.
• Debug and fix complex issues within the browser codebase and large-scale codebases.
• Implement new features and optimizations to improve browser performance and user experience.
• Monitor and integrate the latest web technology standards and developments.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Degree in any field.
• Direct experience with Chromium open source project development.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Proven ability to debug and resolve issues in large-scale codebases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience optimizing browser performance and user experience.
