Description

You will own the delivery of project enhancements and system initiatives from design through to production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions based on user requirements, meeting performance and quality standards.
• Manage the planning and execution of daily and monthly batch job processing to meet system SLAs.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements to participate in solution specification.
• Perform source code reviews, code merges, and troubleshoot server logs on AS/400.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on SIT, UAT, and production support to resolve user queries and database issues.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant working experience.
• Hands-on programming experience in COBOL/400 and SMART/400 COBOL.
• Proficiency in AS/400 Control Language (CL).
• Experience with AS/400 server-side technologies and SMART/400 development tools.
• Strong skills in Cobol, C++, SQL, and .net.
• Ability to analyze AS/400 server logs for troubleshooting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information System, Insurance, or a related field.
