Description

You will design, develop, and debug software products, custom configurations, and new applications to meet industry requirements. You will also mentor the software team and travel to sites for commissioning and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document software projects and code customizations.
• Expand existing software capabilities and create new applications.
• Travel to sites (approximately 30%) for software commissioning, integration testing, and site acceptance testing.
• Provide mentorship and technical training to the software team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development or programming experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Experience developing multithreaded applications using C.
• Knowledge of interprocess communications and thread synchronization.
• Understanding of database design and programming with Microsoft SQL or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and network configuration.
• Experience with socket programming and web services (SOAP, REST).
• Familiarity with GitLab, Subversion, Jira, and Confluence.
• General understanding of virtualization technologies like VMWare.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of industrial automation.
