Description

You will build and maintain backend services and business logic for secure healthcare and financial data.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build and consume RESTful API endpoints, AMQP messages, and GraphQL queries.
• Create reusable code and libraries to standardize the technology stack.
• Implement secure, testable, and maintainable business logic for sensitive data.
• Collaborate with teams through design reviews, code reviews, and daily technical communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience building and consuming API endpoints including REST, AMQP, and GraphQL.
• Experience implementing testable, secure, and maintainable business logic.
• Experience operating event-driven services and leveraging message brokers or event streams.
• Experience deploying to cloud-based environments such as AWS.
• Experience building and maintaining 3rd-party integrations.
• Experience operating in high-security environments such as healthcare or payments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
