Description

You will design and develop business-critical data pipelines and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of data pipelines using Kafka, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, and NoSQL databases on AWS.
• Collaborate with engineers to define requirements for data enrichment, aggregation, and feature implementation.
• Work with data source teams to identify ingestion use cases, schema details, and validation requirements.
• Coordinate with API developers to ensure datastores meet the requirements of Web Service APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within data flows and communicate technical details to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data pipeline design and development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services, specifically DynamoDB and OpenSearch.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs.
• Skilled in integration testing and peer testing to maintain quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
