Description

You will design, build, and optimize high-performance Java applications, data pipelines, and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient Java web applications with a focus on performance optimization and real-time processing.
• Build data pipelines, APIs, and microservices aligned with business and data requirements.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, analyze technical concerns, and tune job transformations to improve system efficiency.
• Deploy and maintain applications in AWS and OpenShift environments while creating architecture diagrams and technical design documents.
• Facilitate code reviews, write unit test cases, and manage Jenkins pipelines to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Java/J2EE and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience building microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and Delta Lake staging layers.
• Ability to implement and manage data publishing and consumption using Kafka.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS and managing them in OpenShift.
• Proficiency in configuring DevOps workflows using Jenkins and Git.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services and API development.
• Ability to transform and serialize datasets into JSON messages using SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building ingestion frameworks using Delta Lake.
