Description

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data models, transformations, and cloud data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and dbt.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable cloud data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, optimizing performance via clustering, warehouse sizing, and caching.
• Design, develop, and optimize data models and transformations using dbt, following analytics engineering best practices.
• Develop complex, high-performance SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and reporting.
• Implement data quality checks, testing, and documentation using dbt tests and exposures.
• Manage and maintain data pipelines ensuring reliability, accuracy, and timeliness, including version control, CI/CD, and deployment workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Snowflake, including cost-control techniques and performance tuning.
• Strong experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex queries and optimizations.
• Experience integrating data with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of ELT architecture and modern data stack concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with semi-structured data formats (JSON, Parquet) in Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis across the data stack.
