Description

You will develop and maintain software within manufacturing and ERP environments, bridging legacy and modern database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Break down ambiguous problems into clearly defined technical requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features.
• Write clean, documented code following standard programming and testing practices.
• Use debugging tools to identify and resolve performance and reliability bottlenecks.
• Present technical rationale and documentation to influence architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms.
• Strong experience with C programming and COBOL.
• Hands-on experience with VMS/VAX emulation, including programming and compiling.
• Expertise in SQL Server, SQL scripting, and stored procedures.
• Experience working with JSON and XML data formats.
• Knowledge of FMS and DMQ (message queue).
• Competency in unit testing using JUnit and mock frameworks.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• General understanding of networking and Linux/Unix environments.
