Description

You will design and build extensible RESTful APIs for enterprise-wide consumption and support application migration to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex business functionality using Java daily.
• Influence high-level solution and detailed technical design.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and QA in an Extreme Programming and Kanban environment.
• Provide Level 2 support for production services.
• Identify and implement improvements to Agile delivery practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 1.8+.
• Deep understanding of Object Oriented Design Principles and REST API design.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA, git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of HCC Kubernetes utilizing Google Anthos.
• Experience with database modeling and scripting.
• Competency in Bash scripting and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Pair Programming.
• Experience with WebSphere, JBoss, or Tomcat application servers.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like JWT or OAuth2.
