Description

Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE, WebSphere, and JMS messaging. You will own the full lifecycle of feature activation, de-activation, and family plan management. Responsibilities include building MDBs for messaging requests, updating database schemas, and implementing in-memory DataGrid solutions. You will integrate third-party APIs and conduct middleware design, development, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java/J2EE applications on WebSphere server for feature management and handset changes.
• Design and implement JMS/MDB components to handle asynchronous messaging requests.
• Build in-memory DataGrid solutions and middleware architectures.
• Integrate third-party APIs and manage database updates using Oracle.
• Write and execute unit tests using JUnit and RAD (Eclipse).

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Java and J2EE development.
• Proficiency in JMS, EJB, and MDB patterns.
• Experience with WebSphere application server.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Practical experience with JUnit for testing.
• Familiarity with RAD (Eclipse) and MQ Series messaging.
• DataGrid design and in-memory development experience.
• Ability to travel or relocate to unanticipated locations as needed.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience in enterprise middleware design.
• Background in handling MEID/ESN number logic and complex feature flags.
