Description

You will design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain RESTful microservices using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Migrate legacy monolithic architectures to distributed microservices.
• Implement event-driven patterns using Kafka.
• Diagnose and solve complex technical problems through aggressive troubleshooting and analysis.
• Apply XP principles, including TDD and continuous deployment, within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging and streaming.
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.
• Ability to perform API testing using Postman and load/performance testing with JMeter.
• Experience using Splunk or ELK for data searching, analysis, and visualization.
• Knowledge of containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Cassandra.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOAP services.
