Description

You will design and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring framework.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement REST API services.
• Manage data persistence using RDBMS systems like Postgres or Oracle.
• Integrate messaging services such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Apply TDD and unit testing disciplines to ensure code quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies within the development team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience with Java and Java Spring.
• Strong proficiency in REST API development.
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Solid experience with RDBMS, specifically Postgres or Oracle.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
