Description

You will develop extensible RESTful APIs and migrate applications to the cloud within a disciplined agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex business functionality using Java daily.
• Influence high-level solution design and detailed technical design.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and QA to deliver services.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and provide Level 2 support for production services.
• Identify and implement ways to evolve agile delivery practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 1.8+.
• Deep understanding of Object Oriented Design Principles and API design for REST services.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA, git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of database modeling and scripting.
• Experience with Bash scripting and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS, or Tomcat.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Pair Programming.
• Knowledge of Security frameworks like JWT or OAuth2.
• Experience with Integration frameworks such as Mule or Camel.
