Description

You will build and maintain complex Java web services and applications in a hands-on engineering role.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex Java 17 applications and RESTful web services using Spring Boot.
• Manage source code via Git, conducting pull requests and code reviews.
• Write and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document technical designs and decisions in Confluence.
• Troubleshoot SQL databases and optimize queries.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with SQL databases, including querying and troubleshooting.
• Deep knowledge of RESTful services and web services architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git, including branching strategies and PR reviews.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
• Required experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SOAP services.
• Knowledge of data formats: XML, JSON, YAML.
