Description

Build and optimize scalable search systems to improve discovery and relevance. You will own the backend architecture for AI-driven search features, ensuring low-latency performance and high precision.

Responsibilities

• Develop state-of-the-art vector search systems using Weaviate or similar technologies.
• Implement embedding strategies for diverse datasets to enhance search performance.
• Architect and maintain scalable backend frameworks to support AI-driven search features.
• Refine search algorithms to improve efficiency and accuracy while upholding data privacy and security standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on search technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Proven experience with vector search engines, embeddings, and similarity search algorithms.
• Experience designing and managing scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Familiarity with gRPC for low-latency microservices communication.
• Experience building low-latency APIs for real-time search.
• Active participation in open-source projects related to search, AI, or backend development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud services (GCP or Azure) and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML principles applied to search and personalization.
