Description

Build and maintain infrastructure and software tooling for complex distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments and configuration management.
• Architect and build internal software tools to support engineering workflows.
• Diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues within large-scale distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in an Application Development capacity.
• 8+ years building automation and configuration management infrastructure (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
• 8+ years experience building CI/CD pipelines and deploying production code using Docker.
• 4+ years of automation and scripting proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and large-scale architectures (Java/Spring Boot, CQRS).
• Experience administering and architecting both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience using cloud services, preferably AWS or Azure, including IaaS/PaaS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
