Description

You will engineer and maintain core software systems, ensuring deep technical ownership of development and system security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using C++ and Python.
• Administer and harden Linux operating systems, preferably RHEL.
• Implement and manage cryptographic operations using OpenSSL.
• Assess and remediate cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the codebase and infrastructure.
• Utilize Perl or Shell scripting for automation and system management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python development.
• Expertise in Linux administration and system hardening.
• Strong understanding of cryptography and OpenSSL operations.
• Experience with Cyber Security principles and vulnerability remediation.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration, preferably RHEL.
• Hands-on experience with Perl or Shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with secure coding practices and threat modeling.
• Background in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, healthcare, or defense.
