Description

You will lead the conceptualization, design, development, and validation of software for HVAC control and communicating systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own full life-cycle software development, from requirements specification through maintenance.
• Define and document requirements for sub-systems, software components, and modules.
• Drive the adoption of agile and lean software development methodologies and coding standards.
• Oversee implementation or modification of control algorithms for HVAC appliance control.
• Conduct technical risk assessments and facilitate the Security Engineering Process.

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience in specification, design, realization, and testing of software-based systems.
• 5+ years developing and troubleshooting software in embedded control systems using C/C++.
• Broad experience developing, analyzing, and troubleshooting communication protocols (RS485, I2C, SPI).
• Proficiency with embedded systems tools, including hardware emulators and debuggers.
• Experience developing prototypes or proof-of-concept software in embedded C/C++.
• Knowledge of bug/issue tracking and project management software like JIRA.
• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Github or BitBucket.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
