Description

Lead quality assurance efforts for DOE applications, ensuring products meet design specifications through rigorous testing and technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and schedule testing for projects, defining objectives and writing manual and automated test scripts.
• Participate in sprint planning to ensure acceptance criteria are clear, precise, and testable.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, perform back-end data validation, and conduct accessibility, cross-browser, and mobile-specific testing.
• Mentor and coach Software Quality Engineers while collaborating with Development, Product, and Project Management teams.
• Investigate and report project issues and implement technical solutions across departments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring multiple teams and projects.
• Subject matter expertise in testing RESTful APIs.
• Experience automating backend services using the Dotnet framework.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD approaches and the role of QE in supporting them.
• Ability to write test harnesses using web services technologies.
• Experience with test management tools to track progress and results.
• Proficiency in analyzing requirements and user story acceptance criteria.
• Direct experience working with Development, Product, and Project Management workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field.
