Description

Validate and debug complex hardware, software, and embedded systems while driving end-to-end root cause analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Debug and validate HW/SW/Embedded systems, reproducing defects and performing root cause analysis.
• Analyze source code (C/C++/Python/RTL) to understand features, failure modes, and system interactions.
• Develop debug tools, parsers, automation scripts, and validation utilities for logs, traces, and performance.
• Collaborate with design, firmware, driver, and architecture teams to resolve hardware and software issues.
• Enhance validation infrastructure through automation to improve debug turnaround time and reduce regression escapes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software validation or debugging.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong expertise in debugging, automation, and root cause analysis.
• Deep knowledge of Linux and embedded systems.
• Experience with FPGA and performance analysis.
• Hands-on debugging using tools like GDB/LLDB, logic analyzers, or protocol analyzers.
• Ability to analyze large and complex code bases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing debug utilities, parsers, and automation tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux internals and kernel drivers.
