Description

You will design and lead end-to-end AWS cloud architectures, ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and cost-optimized. You will drive application modernization, establish SRE best practices, and manage infrastructure automation using IaC tools.

Responsibilities

• Define reference architectures for microservices, serverless, and containerized workloads on AWS.
• Establish and enforce SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to improve reliability.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for microservices and serverless applications.
• Architect and operate Amazon EKS clusters and secure solutions using IAM, VPC, and WAF.
• Lead technical reviews, mentor engineering teams, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in hands-on AWS cloud architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: EC2, VPC, ALB/NLB, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Strong experience with serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices design patterns.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
• Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Monitoring and observability expertise with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Experience with multi-account AWS landing zones and FinOps practices.
• Exposure to service mesh technologies like Istio or App Mesh.
