You will own the technical support and implementation lifecycle for enterprise data platforms, acting as a hands-on individual contributor rather than a manager. You provide direct technical resolution for software, data, and communication errors while monitoring production stability for new releases.
Responsibilities
- Monitor application, production, and implementation support for new releases, addressing both technical and user-facing issues.
- Coordinate information flow between business owners and development staff, ensuring timely execution of functional reviews and development sessions.
- Validate proposed technical approaches for system problem logs and recommend mediation strategies to management.
- Document end-user interactions in automated call logging tools to track productivity and maintain accurate project documentation.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, specifically using PySpark or Python for scripting, automation, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in R and SparklyR as a data analyst, or Starburst as a developer/support engineer.
- Experience with Tableau as a developer, including performance tuning and debug capabilities.
- Hands-on development or support experience with Collibra or Alteryx.
- Strong understanding of Immuta security, including Role-Based and Attribute-Based Access Control (RBAC/ABAC).
- Proven experience in Agile delivery, SAFe framework, and using Jira for backlog refinement.
- Broad knowledge of application and data modeling techniques with strong root cause analysis skills.
Preferred Skills
- CBAP, Agile Analysis Certification, or similar credentials.
- Experience working in highly matrixed or virtual distributed teams.
