Description

Design and deliver large-scale data engineering and analytics platforms with hands-on Databricks development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end data engineering projects using Databricks.
• Optimize data platforms for performance and scalability.
• Implement CI/CD workflows for production deployments.
• Apply deep expertise in distributed computing and Spark runtime internals.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics.
• 10+ years of professional consulting experience.
• Databricks Professional certification and completed required coursework.
• Hands-on development experience across 6-8+ completed projects.
• Deep expertise in at least one cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Advanced knowledge of Spark and distributed computing.
• Current knowledge of the Databricks product and platform feature set.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and MLOps.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance optimization in distributed environments.
