Description

You will design, develop, and operate systems for managing large-scale data across enterprise architecture, data governance, and warehousing environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop systems for storing and managing large volumes of data.
• Write code for moderately complex system designs and programs spanning multiple platforms.
• Develop and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to provide technical input and ensure team best practices.
• Manage tasks independently while ensuring process compliance and meeting leadership expectations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of development experience with Python, Spark, and Java.
• 3+ years of experience with Hadoop, preferably Hortonworks.
• Proficiency in Scala, Hive, and HDFS.
• Experience writing complex ETL for both batch and real-time data processing using Spark Streaming.
• Strong understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design, and documentation protocols.
• Proficiency with versioning tools and debugging tools.
• Experience operating within a matrix organization with a global footprint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building UIs or dashboards.
