Description

You will manage a large SQL Server environment spanning on-premises data centers and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Always On Availability Groups and Failover Clustering.
• Perform SQL Server and T-SQL performance tuning, including query tuning and indexing.
• Optimize AWS storage and execute database backups to meet RPO and RTO requirements.
• Automate repetitive database tasks using PowerShell to improve reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot database issues and participate in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with AWS services including RDS, EC2, EBS, CloudWatch, and S3.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts, automated deployment, and monitoring.
• Ability to assist with database upgrade planning and execution.
