Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure hybrid SQL Server environments across on-premises and Azure platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
• Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines for ETL and data migration.
• Create automation scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Oversee database backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam and native SQL tools.
• Monitor system performance using Redgate SQL Toolbelt and lead enterprise Data Warehouse architecture and tuning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration in mid-to-large environments.
• Expertise in SQL Server administration and Azure SQL Managed Instances.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory.
• Advanced T-SQL and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience supporting hybrid database architectures and enterprise workloads.
• Strong understanding of security, access controls, compliance, and auditability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; substantial IT experience may substitute for education.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain or maintain required security clearances.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps collaboration.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MCSE – Data Platform, or MCSA – Database.
